Why We Started Liv
My sister Olivia (Liv) LOVES her day programs. She is a very social person and if you have met Olivia then you know she enjoys having conversations with others and meeting new people. Dancing to music, doing yoga and making crafts are Olivia's favourite parts of her day. However, Olivia is not a very independent person. She likes to be around other people and have them help her with her activities. It can be extremely stressful trying to accommodate her needs full time.

Day programs have allowed Olivia to live a more fulfilling and enriched life while providing our family a much needed break throughout the day.

However, we have quickly realized many big cities in Ontario offer little or no services for young adults with disabilities. We understand the importance and positive impact that day programs have had for Olivia and our family which is why we have decided to open LivDayProgram.
